About Us

I am a Dental Hygienist in the HRM area with over 30 years experience working in the dental field. During this time I have seen many oral injuries related to sports that could have been prevented with a sports mouthguard in place.
I felt so strongly about the importance of encouraging our children to wear them, I created Atlantic Canada's first mobile mouthguard clinic located in Halifax.

SAFER SMILES fabricates custom mouthguards for many contact sports: Hockey, Rugby, MMA, Basketball, Football, Roller Derby, Martial Arts just to name a few. We have traveled to many fields, arenas and gyms throughout the province of Nova Scotia. 

My goal is to make it convenient and affordable for children and adults alike to provide our athletes with SAFER SMILES!
